| Ok guys The definative guide to getting on teamspeak......... 1/ Scroll to the bottom of this page and agree to it http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=downloads&id=1a and it will give you the option to save it. Save this file to a folder or desk top. 2/ Install the program to where ever it is you install them to ( most ppl just install it into their program files folder ) 3/ Open teamspeak and do the following -> file -> quick connect -> in server address put: 216.55.164.88:8807 ( please note that there is a : inbetween the last two sets of numbers and not a . as alot of ppl have been putting there ) -> in nickname put: <your guilds main toons name> (this is so we know who we are talking to) -> in password put: impraid 4/ Once you are connected you will need to set up a push to talk button which is done by doing the following -> Settings -> Sound input / output settings -> Check the push to talk option -> Press set and push which ever button you wish to have as your talk button -> Close This should be all you need to do to connect to our teamspeak server but if you do have any dramas send an in game whisper or mail to Umunga and I will help you out as best I can Hope you all get off your slack behinds and come talk to me p.s if I missed any steps let me know and i'll update this post

| WOOT!!!!!!! Finally someone else wants to talk to me Now if teamspeak isn't making any sound there are several possibilities 1/ Is your headset pluged in? This can be a major cause of not getting any sound from teamspeak....... and your whole computer as well lol. (I fully expect to get an earfull from that one hehe) 2/ Was there anyone actually ON teamspeak at the time? I know that it's been pretty lonely there of late with only Desi logging in to talk to me. So maybe there just wasn't anyone online when you logged in 3/ And this is the most likely. Do you have your sound settings set up right, I know that sometimes you need to go into your settings and turn up the volume for your mic, you might have to do it with your output volume as well. That's all I can think of right now ( it's midnight here and I have no caffine in me ) so check your sound settings and see if they are good. Otherwise i'll be on most if not all this weekend, just grab me and i'll help you get it working. That offer goes for everyone as well, just send me a whisper and i'll help you get it going. I hope that helps Umunga | |

| haha, you were definately right about "getting an earful." It's funny because you aren't the first person to ask me that!! I'm blonde, yes, but I'm not stupid lol. I know how to plug things in. I'll go through my sound settings and see if that fixes the issue..otherwise I'll just wait until this weekend and bug you to fix it for me. =) Thanks!!! | |
